The Manager of Surgical System Networks is responsible for defining and implementing a telecommucation solution suitable for a wide range of remote surgical applicatoins. This requires direct interface with engineers, product managres, telcom companies and research institutions to provide a network solution that can support the desired applications.

Requirements: Strong networking background for high-end applications. Proven track record of creating product as well as rough proof of concepts. Must be skilled in data/network security, application of VPN solutions, public key cryptography, secure comminications and related authentication metholds. Hospital experience, familiarity with HIPPA compliance. Must manage the cost/performance curve for defined remote applications. Must be able to interface with a wide range of departments and people. Databe interfacing experience, and familiarity with Internet 2.
