Systems Analysts perform a vital and wide-ranging role in our product development. They are responsible for generating the control algorithms and user interface designs associated with our products. They provide analytical assistance to the other engineering groups. They perform externally and internally funded research into developing technolgies such as haptics, sensor fusion, advanced imaging, surgical planning and surgical simulation.
Requirements: Masters in EE, ME. Detailed familiarity with clinical issues. Strong educational emphasis on control theory and practice. Strong knowledge of teleoperation principles and robot mechanisms. An interest in the medical applications of haptics, robotics and machine vision. An interest in industry, not academics.
